Corporate Communications & PR Intern (Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs)

About the Role
As a Corporate Communications & PR Intern, you will support the development and execution of strategic communications focused on sustainability, ESG compliance, and regulatory affairs. You will work closely with the Corporate Affairs team to shape our messaging for policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of PR materials (press releases, industry reports, white papers, and newsletters) tailored for regulators, policymakers, and sustainability stakeholders.
  • Assist in policy research and draft briefings on sustainability topics such as EU Green Deal, Ecovadis compliance, ISO standards, and ESG mandates.
  • Monitor media coverage and regulatory changes affecting KapiteinLabs’ technologies (Plasma Toolbox, Ozone, HC2Green).
  • Collaborate on thought leadership content, including LinkedIn posts, blogs, and articles on sustainability trends.
  • Assist in media outreach and stakeholder engagement, including pitching to journalists and preparing conference briefing documents.
  • Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives related to ESG goals.

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s in communication, PR, Political Science, or Sustainability.
  • Passion for corporate sustainability, ESG compliance, and regulatory affairs.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze regulatory trends.
  • Experience in public relations, corporate affairs, or journalism is a plus
